Perfect Power initially made these for the 964. While the 964 and the 993 have the same front strut tower layout, Porsche shortened the strut mount bolts by a few mm with the advent of the 993. Perfect Power said that future bars would come with replacement studs.
Replacing the studs is actually quite easy.

I've been looking into this strut brace issue myself, especially to help with some of that extra flex in my cab. I've been leaning toward the Fabspeed piece. After reading some of the prior threads, I decided to contact Fabspeed directly (there only a few towns away from me in Pennsylvania). In a prior thread there were some issues raised regarding fitment and that the holes had been "ovaled" to allow fitment after improper design. I spoke with Jeremy at Fabspeed today (no association by the way), and he is their installer and just installed one on a 993 last week (and has done several over the past few years personally). He assured me that the fitment is perfect and that the holes line up on the 993. The cost is $275 and it is one piece aluminum (however, not adjustable). I was planning on bringing my car over in the next week or two and have them do the install. Unless convinced otherwise by you guys regarding better braces, I'll report back on my findings when complete.
But if you drive there and have them see if it fits properly without having it drilled before you buy it, then you have nothing to loose.
