History on Seattle 97 C4S?
Does anyone know of history on this 97 C4S for sale at Park Place, Seattle? I have a friend who test drove it but with some of the mods like front euro bumper just wondering if it was owned by a Rennlister or know by one of us?

Thanks in advance, Brad

Three Wheelin'
At $63K they're pretty proud of it, which seems to be pretty typical of PP.
I looked at a couple things they had before I bought and wasn't too impressed.
My wife is in the auto finance biz and says their reputation is so-so.

I checked it out, & the Yellow one they had. The car is in really nice shape, & really looks good! I'd say it's a 9.5 out of 10, it really looks brand new.
It drives really nice, everything works, I didn't want it for 3 reasons, 1. to much $$, 2. It's white 3. No aero kit.

I bought my 993 there in 1998...they negotiated to a decent price so don't let the asking price scare you away. Coming from the Bay Area might make negotiations tougher though.
As far as where the cars come from...I'd say auctions for the most part. On auction cars thay have no idea of the history.
I tried to buy my 540i from them as they had just what I wanted. I found that the sales guys expect you to do the work...geez all they have to do is get me engaged a little. I guess it is too much trouble to see if you want to drive it or ask how interested you are or anythng. I think they are used to Microsofties just coming in and buying at the asking price.
There are shops that will do a PPI for you...let us know if you want somebody to take a look.
Overall, better than ebay but but it is still a risk...PPI is a must.
Cheers!
