Here it is folks, the last day of the season. The movie at the bottom of the list is the first timed run at Prescott on the afternoon of Sunday 23rd September 2007 that set a new Porsche Club record time and clinched the Championship for the second year running. Turning out of the paddock onto the tyre warmng section I got a serious bout of butterflies, so ended up spinning the tyres then chanted "clutch, clutch, clutch" to make myself concentrate on the launch, then once away I started on "don't brake, don't brake, don't brake" to ensure a fast entry into the first bend. From then on it was plain sailing....

Hopefully these videos will silence the sceptics who think that speed events (hillclimbs and sprints) are for those who aren't fast enough to race, whereas you now know the truth.

There is a hillclimb a couple of hours from Atlanta this weekend. Check out www.crowmountainhillclimb.org I wish I was off this weekend, but I'll be flying. I should have the BeastMW ready for it next year though as well as the spring event in North Carolina.
