Seats are about 18 months old. I might have put 3,000 miles on the car since buying them...
Price: $2,300 with rails/sliders for a 993. PM me if interested.
I much prefer a local pickup here in the bay area. I'm located in Menlo Park, CA.
Will have more parts coming off my car soon....
Cheers,
Boris

yes i'm going to be selling the car. although i get the sense that it would be hard to get someone to pay extra for gt3 seats and perhaps some other choice parts on the car... so needless to say here goes.
I am buying another pcar, a 996TT. i hope i like the 996tt as much as i like my 993...
cheers,
boris

i was really looking for a gt3, but then found a nicely done 996tt. i didn't want to go through the expense of suspension, weight reduction, some type of stage 2 kit and i can't stand the factory wheels on a TT. So i found a car that had all those things changed and more. So i went the TT route. I have a slightly uneasy feeling about it (as i know the gt3 is a marvel and a serious machine). i hope i like the TT.

David,
When I installed my now-sold GT3 seats, they weighed 33 lbs. each. (Sorry, can't recall for certain if that was with the sliders or not, but I think so.) The stock seats weighed 62 lbs. each, meaning 58 lbs. could be saved with the GT3 seats, maybe more if I didn't include the sliders.

Boris, if you need to ship, they fit perfectly in a U-Haul garment box. That's how mine arrived.
What kind of rails/sliders do you have?

The seats with sliders/rails weigh in at 31.075 lbs (yes i'm **** and kept a detailed spreadsheet of everything...) Also different stock seats weigh different amounts (i.e. sport seats vs. regular, 4 way vs 8 way, heated vs. non heated). I believe the range of stock seats weights is about 58 - 65 lbs...
I have sparco rails on my car. I don't know the exact model (Bob Brooks picked out the rails).
Cheers,
Boris
