A couple of us decided to take a Drive up north to go visit the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum. Great Day. Great Drive... and what a great Airplane.

Just a grat day!

Wow, been right there in that museum for a gathering, complete with the chief architect of the P6 (PentiumPro, PentiumII, etc.) and Pentium4 playing jazz guitar for entertainment. It was awesome. Nice museum for propeller heads.

Cool timing. Just saw a special last week on the Science channel about how the Spruce Goose was transported to that museum. It was an amazing engineering feat just getting it there, let alone that this plane was built in the first place. Would love to see it one day.

Great gathering of cars, too.

There were no 993s in the Cascade Region when I was there. Was this a PCA event?

Did you guys go by Gary Emory's place (Parts Obsolete) while you were in the area?

Cool pics. So thats where the Goose is now. Was wondering where they moved it. I recently went on a short cruise down to Ensenada and they turned the old display building in Long Beach into the departure/arrival for Carnival Cruise lines. Looks like the building its in now has alot more light and more cool aircraft. The p-cars aren't too bad either!

I saw it in the old building, but that looks like a much better venue for it, with other aircraft. Especially the B-17 and the SR-71. Maybe I should take a long drive up the coast next time.

It was actually more of a friend of a friend kinda thing. Send me an email address and I'll be sure to send you an invite next time. I think we are going to try and do a drive around Cougar Reservoir before to long.
