I had the same issue with a polar silver 993 with a red interior (Porsche calls it chestnut). I was looking for a polar silver car with a black interior. In photos the red interior was a bright color, and the carpets and trim looked terrible. Fortunately, I didn't give up on it and took a trip to see it in person. In person, the interior had a much more subtle look ( Porsche calling it chesnut wasn't far off). I loved the combination, and purchased the car. Now when I see a polar silver car with a black interior, it looks washed out and plain to me.

I would not have bought my C4S with a black interior, but when I looked at the Arctic Silver/Chestnut Brown.......yeah, that works! (And the picture sucks.)

Nice car Ken. I loved my white 85 cab on chestnut and one of the hottest cars on the list is the Misstress, polar silver on can can red.

X2 I totally dig my two-tone blue/gray. It's funky, but in a good way.

Maybe they changed the name, because I see brown brown........and definitely not brown that's really red. Now if I could find a white 993 cab with Can Can, Lipstick, or whatever it really is I'd get on an airplane to go see it!

I saw the car today. The blue is not offensive at all. I probably won't buy this one (out of my price range for the time being), but at least I know not to run from the blue interior.

My ex-C4S had midnight blue interior (btw metropol blue is for 996's) and I thought it looked great.

Here is a suggestion - the blue interior is fine, however, a few contrasting Black bits will make a world of difference in the overall appearance. (take a look at the photo below)

I replaced the steering wheel with a Black 3-spoke design and and added a new Black/Carbon shifter - a night and day difference for the better

The C4S I mentioned above had that color interior. The sport seats I have from the '95 are DARK blue. The two are vastly different.

Au contrair, it's definately brown-red, it's just the light, though it looked more brown than red in person. I'm sure you've seen this 993 version of my Carrera before....https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...68#post3908568

The blue offered for the 993 was Midnight Blue. Metropol Blue was first introduced with the Boxster.
