A group of us that lived on South beach used to get together once a month for a fast early Saturday morning drive around Miami area and back to South Beach for breakfast.

South Beach, Miami was the best place I have ever lived in my life!!!

Worth every penny.

I had an apartment in South Beach 30 floors up, with a 180 degree Atlantic ocean view.

Not to mention the "view" from the pool next door... (picture were taken with my Sigma 500mm lens from 30 floors up)

I am a part time Miami resident, and I also don't recall seeing many (if any) 993's. People in Miami seem to be consumed with the latest and greatest (and most bling). After all, how could one be seen stepping out in front of Prime 112 in a 10 year old Porsche with all those hot models looking on. (Note sarcasm).

Truthfully, it is a treat to check out Champion (world's largest Porsche dealer) and the Collection in Coral Gables. They always have really interesting colors and over the top spec's on the cars.

I was considering sending my C2S down for the winter once the weather gets cold here in Boston. I'm happy to hear there is a gorup that gets together so I'm not the only one in town driving an "antique". LOL.

And as Robin, who us SBBC guys so dearly miss, mentioned, there are catherings every now and then. South Beach Breakfast Club has been in hiatus for a while but should be starting again.

Check out Driver's Club International Rennlist Forum for stuff happening here in South Fla. We will have our next SBBC on October 7th.

Also, there are track events around here & bunch of us will be going to Rennsport III as a group, come join us.
