Shhhhh! man keep it down. No one needs to know the true value $. Let's just let them assume we are completely successful.

No no--I'd rather be a cool guy in a quirky old sportscar than a rich dick in a "Porsh".

They don't have to know when you bought it! In its day, it was the marque of success.
I get more comments from guys in newer "Porschas" than I would from anyone else, so maybe they're feeling a little "undersuccessful".......is that a word

I'm always amazed at the number of *ooohs* and *aaahs* you get just driving it around...

I parked next to a Z06 at the local outdoor mall about 2 weeks ago... and a couple of college aged guys working at one of the stores came out asking the usual questions... and suggested they like to see my car and the Z06 *line up* sometime...

They were wildly surprised to hear that my car was 11 years older than the Z06 (ie it was new when one of the guys was 8 yrs old) and that it would be eaten by the Corvette *at the line*... I was like, guys, the Corvette has 500+hp...

Either way, a testament to classic beauty... and a great (ly enhanced) reputation for modern performance...
