Uh, no. The foglights were the same worldwide. The tech-art items fit into the same foglight opening.

For bumperette cars, the turn signals were shortened to make room for them. That's why Euro turn signals won't work unless you lose the bumperettes.

But the fogs work regardless, and the tech-art items are plug and play.

David,

I've been having a sort out, tidying the shed, and I've ended up with two of the kits. I'll probably end up kicking myself for selling this one, as it will be sods law that I pick up a cracked lense from a stone. I have some spare amourfend that I'm thinking of putting over the lamps, and the new headlamp lenses that I've ordered.

It's very interesting listing something like this on ebay, there are over 20 people watching this item, so I guess there may be some ebay snippers out there, as only three bids.

Q-These Hella foglights, where can I order from? Stealer at VW was charging $500+! I think they were older Jetta type.
Yes, I was one of those snippers...

Yes the lights are off the vw jetta, but techart mod them with the addition of the side light/parking light, as the VW standard light doesn't have the hole for the side light bulb. Techart only sell the kit for approx $1100. Top tip, that I've just remembered, is that you can order the glass from the VW dealer, so if you have the hella units and get a rock chip, the light is still serviceable, just change the glass for approx $50 per side.
