Default Pricing for 1996 993

I'm thinking of selling my 1996 coupe. Pretty standard car with tiptronic, factory CD changer, arena red, black interior, 39K miles.

I'm looking for suggested pricing. KBB seems way off.

Thanks

The tip is the challenge. Otherwise, it would probably be a pretty easy sell.

(off the cuff, probably about $33,478 )

Low-ish mileage = plus, tip = minus. $33k.

Anderson's guide says $33,213 in excellent condition but doesn't seem to deduct for the Tiptronic.

I have the same car except with the classic grey interior and 75K miles. I know the tip is a detriment, but how much would you take off the $33K estimate for the add'l 40K miles? Car is in Orange County California (not sure if that makes a difference???)

I would probably take off $3000-5000 for the add'l 40K miles (tip with 75K miles), which would be about $28-30K. A year or two ago I would not have thought so, however after seeing how long it took ceboyd (member) to sell her Tip (I'm not sure she actually has yet...), I think it is safe to say that the market is not really looking for a 10-12 year old automatic. ... That's just a theory though and can not be substantiated.

Surprisingly, we are all saying about the same price for the car in the original post.
