My first car ever was a 1970 911t. I still have it although it needs to be restored. It has 60k miles and has been in the garage since approx 1984 ish after the 901 tranny took a dump. In the process of fixing the tranny and rebuilding the motor I started fixing some rust and it is still in the garage. I was 20 y/o then. Anyway, I have had a 1990 C2, 1999 Aero Kit 996 and a 2000 C2 and the 996 since then. The 993 is by far my favorite except for the 70' T in High School. Let me just say that the only reason the restoration isnt complete is because I am scared the car will be able to speak and then the wife wont talk to me

1978 SC, I had the Brigadier General (ole porsche guy and racer) of our base who had a ranch outside Bolder Colo. go take a look at it. It was exactly the way the owner described it, the General said shes a good one, so I flew out there and drove it straight home to In. non stop other than the had too things. What an awseome car for my first one. I sure miss it, that always seem the case though. The firsts are your fondest.

My 993 is my first Porsche, and it is the car I had dreamed of owning since the C4S was first announced.
Always been a car nut, always wanted a Porsche, and now I'm almost totally happy.....the only little niggle of doubt concerns a certain 997 GT3. It might be the only car I consider replacing my baby with.

My 993 is my first Porsche. I had been eyeing 996s and '91 turbos to replace my E36 m3 but one of my best friends and a Porsche afficianado, convinced me that me that my first Porsche experience needed to be a rear wheel drive, normally asprirated, air cooled model. I felt that the 993 represtented the best of all of these qualities. I have not been disappointed on the street or at the track with this car.

My first Porsche was a 356, a 1961 356B Roadster. It had the funky original color combo of a blue exterior with a red interior. The green 1964 356C sunroof coupe was my second Porsche.
Here's a picture, sorry for the poor quality, the picture was taken with my first digital camera, an old Kodak DC50. Free camera phones today have better picture quality....

My first was a 914 then my first 911 was my 993 TT,then a 996 GT3 and now my 997 GT3. I dont think I will ever sell my 997 GT3 it reminds me of my 993. I am looking now for a 914 to restore and track and would like to make a 73 RSR replica but I need a bigger garage. Oh and one day I want my 993 back in some form. Probably a C2S Love the 993 just a wonderful car.

Please contact me when/if you decide to part with the Roadster (or, it decides to leave you)... I may buy it, or I know of a collector in the SF Bay Area who would. Interesting color combo, I think the wifey would go for that.
