Thanks quasr-I think removal of the tray would definitely be easier with the car elevated. From what I can see it may only be connected by some screws underneath the rear end of the car and a couple of them up in the wheel wells.

Thanks to everyone, I changed my oxygen sensor in about half an hour. Bought one from Pelican for a $100 or so. Backed the car onto a set of ramps. Unplugged the old sensor (thanks to stace) and pushed the grommet down with the sensor plug. With the old sensor unplugged, it was easier to unscrew it. New one put in. Was much easier than I thought it would be (again ... thanks to everyone here!).

Glad I have a '95!
