The drivers side window won't go up or down. After searching and reading all the posts, I did the easy task first and replaced the switch, still no juice. The sun roof and pass window work so its not the relay. I put a voltmeter on the harness and am getting 12 volts to the switch. Do I have a bad motor or is there anything I mssed? Thanks in advance.

Try removing the door panel and weather shield and tapping the bottom of the motor. If it then works, your brushes are probably sticking.
This seems to happen after the motors are powered up for an extended period of time from a stuck or broken switch etc. The plastic will melt and cause the contacts to get stuck. A quick disassembly of the motor and some minor filing and cleaning will usually free up the contact.

So then, if both windows refuse to go up or down and the same for the sunroof, is that an automatic relay problem? Relays are not like fuses where they blow or just stop working. Is this possibly something else?
