Well the previous owner of mine spent about $30K on a 3.8L "everything" conversion and the net result is 305HP.

significant ? Depends on what you mean by significant.
Lighweight Flywheel, RS Clutch, drilled airbox, exhaust, chip........all help to some degree.

I guess what I really meant was anything that raises hp, torque, etc... without tearing apart the engine or engine conversions, etc..that will make a noticable difference.

Same as Ken here, the PO did a 3.8L "everything" and then some, $$$$$. Believe the Net result was 321 plus HP. See signature for list of goodies.

I guess what we're all saying is that there's no free lunch. My old RSA 3.6 stock to the bone still with the catalytic converter attached D Stock club racer, I believe, still holds the Thunderhill track record for pretty much anything 3.6L and stockish weight.

SA Mike, you have one of the top badass colors for a 964. Beautiful car.

BTW, if you do a search in the 993 forum, I think you'll find that there is not a lot you can do to improve HP on a 993 (w/out major engine work). I believe the top two things you can do to improve response (although not actual HP) are LWF/RS clutch (excellent value) and RS gearbox (relatively expensive).
