What was your longest road trip in your 993?
I'm considering driving my car out to Leguna-Seca in October, for the ALMS race, from Dallas. I have a few weeks off around that time and would love to drive my car out in the desert and on some mountain roads. Have any of you guys taken road trips that long in your p-cars? What was your impressions and would you do it again.

1900 miles round trip to Montana and back to Seattle. Had a great time!
Just did 2900 miles in the new to me BMW 540i 6-speed in 7 days through the Southwest but that doesn't count!

I covered 3,200+ miles in the first five days of 993 ownership!
I purchased the car in Seattle, shot north into Vancouver, across Canada, and then down through Chicago before making it home to Baltimore. Tiring, yes, but well worth it. Given enough time, I would do it again in a heartbeat. The car never missed a beat and returned some decent fuel mileage as well.

I did San Francisco to St. Petersburg, FL in my 993. It was a beautiful drive. I went through Salt Lake City, Boulder, St. Louis, Nashville, Northern Georgia, then Florida. I had the top down most of the way (don't tell my dermatologist).
I ended up getting a few rock chips. I now have a bra for it (a gift from a friend after I complained about it). Be sure to have a spare DME relay, spare belts, and top off the windshield washer fluid.
I also did San Francisco to Seattle and back in my 993 and again in my Turbo. Oh, and again in my Audi A4. I really like that drive!

Recently completed a trip from Phoenix to Dallas in my 993, 1000+ miles, total trip time 14 hours which included stops for lunch and dinner....awesome.
Assuming you are taking Interstates the drive is a breeze, straight fast highway, with highway patrol in every state (TX, NM, AZ, and CA) leaving their radar on and detectable for miles....very nice of them. Speed limit in west texas bumps up to 80, and most drivers are traveling at 90+, kinda like a Texas autobahn.
My wife was with me, but I drove every mile of the trip , go figure. And at the end of the trip I felt amazingly fresh. My only complaint was my hands (3 and 9 o'clock positions), I developed some calluses on my palms.
Drive to CA (which I have done many times), is much as described above, just make sure you have a good radar detector and you will have a glorious drive.

600 miles the day I picked up the car from my friend Bern. Packed up my wife & two kids and our stuff from a weekend visit to Bern's lake place & drove through to Virginia.
Funny, my kids never liked the back seats after that!

1,600 miles over a 4 day weekend from IL to upstate NY and back for a Watkins Glen race. About half of those miles were spent driving in the rain. I love driving a C4 in the rain.

2000 Miles in 4 Days
About 6 weeks ago I drove from NYC up through New York into Canada to Toronto up to the Algonquin National Park. About 2000 miles in 4 days, basically 2 mega drives of ~850 miles per day, plus a few trips!
Car didn't skip a beat.
Cheers
