Default Porsche welcomes Greenpeace in today protest.

Greenpeace staged a protest outside Porsche's Zuffenhausen plant today, carrying on about how the company's vehicles are "Climate Pigs," complete with a pink Cayenne Turbo dressed up in pig ears and a porker's nose. (via autoblog)

Porsche welcome them with this signs.

I agree completely when discussing numbers and facts but most of these
protests are about exposure of an agenda. Porsche is a high profile target
that just about everyone in today's society is aware of. They picked Porsche
because they knew the media would follow them there.

A little protest now in then is a good thing. What bothers me is when organizations like this do not stay within the guidelines of the law to stage the protest (example: ramming their boats into oil tankers, hanging protest signs on private property, throwing buckets of red paint on women wearing fur, ect,,)
Although I am against fur coats I would never denegrate myself to the point where I become a law breaker to make my point.
no flames, just my .02

As for the Porsche protest.......come on, give me a break. Don't we have bigger fish to fry.

Hasty generalization, name calling, and a sensationalistic media stunt vs. concrete numbers and rational explanation of facts.

OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Porsche stands up to the Eco terrorists. Unfortunately Greenpeace has gone from a group that started by trying to save the whales to a bunch of hippies wanting to advance their income redistribution agenda through environmental activism. Like the Sierra Club they have taken the name calling role and have greatly marginalized their message an themselves.

What a bunch of tools

Well done! I think awareness of our ecological impact is very important, but it must include verifiable facts. I laughed when it was suggested yesterday that the influx of giant squid in the cold waters off Monterey, CA was possibly a result of global warming! Does that explain why these usually warm water dwelling animals are also turning up in Alaska? Hmm, I wonder if there is surf in Alaska now that the water is warm enough to swim in.

The biggest revelation here though is that the Germans really do have a sense of humor after all!

Awesome response with the banners!!!!

Good to see a sense of humor, while making their point. Gotta love it!

This is spot-on. Exactly right.

The only nice thing I have to say about Greenpeace is that they finally found a good use for the Cayenne.

Well, they couldn't have done Porsche more of a favor than staging a protest just when Porsche's announcing the Cayenne hybrid, nicely done.

I see they masked the painted Cayenne carefully. Clearly the Greenpeace organizers didn't want to damage the vehicle as it probably belongs to one of their directors.

The pig motif is an inspired touch from Porsche history, too:

I love Porsche's response. Super signs. I'm removing my cats tomorrow because of this. F&ck Greenpeace! Maybe I'll start dumping my oil down the sink now too.
