To each his own, but IMHO fixed wings on Cabs don't look good. I get the sense of poseur seeing them.

I like the look of the aero kit 1b on a cab. There were some pics posted a while back.
It's clearly personal opinion. Why a wing on a cab is "poser" when a cab is just as much car as a coupe is a mystery to me (I don't agree).

I know there was a rennlister that had/has a SY Cab with the RS splitters in the front with the RS tail. It was a real nice look, unfortunately I didn't save the picture.

I don't think it's correct to think of me as a "poseur" for putting a wing on my cabriolet - especially by someone who cannot even spell the word correctly.
Actually your misspelling adds a certain level of irony, Kika, or do you need the definition explained as well?
Here are pics of the Gemballa equivalent to the Aero 1b wing.

I didn't mean to upset anyone, and I failed to check my spelling. SORRY I clearly stated that it was MY OPINION, and everyone is entitled to their own. I even said, "to each his own"
My personal belief is that wings serve a functional purpose, primarily intended for high speed driving on the track. At legal highway speeds, wings are a benefit, but not necessary. TO ME, Cabs can certainly be driven to extra-legal speeds, but are primarily designed for open air driving vs. track use.
Stickystuff asked for inputs, and I offered my thoguhts. Clearly there are opinions that VIOLENTLY disagree with mine. There is nothing wrong with having a different opinion. All I said is that I got the sense of a "poseur" I did NOT say that everyone who has a cab with a wing IS a poseur.
I apologize if I offended anyone, including Russ.

If my motor or wall breaks, I'd be interested in a modest factory fixed spoiler for my coupe that offers functional cooling. But I wouldn't know where to start. Aerokit 1? Aerokit 2? Who's got pics on a NB?
The "wrrr wrr wrr" every time I get to a stop is annoying. It reminds me of something that could break.
