I run 225/40 ZR 18 on the front and 285/30 ZR 18 on the rear. Unfortunately, the Pilot Super Sports don't come in this size (as far I can tell from the Michelin website). PS2's look great. My wife (very tolerant about my passion for this car), does note that there is a bit too much road noise. This is certainly associated with the road surface. The Pilot Sport A/s are supposed to be a bit quieter and compare well with handling etc. for my Cont Sport Contact 2. Still pondering.......

Default PS2 n3

As I have had ps ribbed and loved them-I am more impressed with the ps2 n3.
Now that I have put a few miles on them I can really feel the difference.
Much stickier -corners better and straight line smoothness is superb.
When it comes to a few dollars in each corner-what is it worth to you!
Your car is only as good as the shoes it wears.
They make me want to drive even more! At that note I am off on another drive the long way to the market!!!!!!!

I'm all for a bargain in toilet paper, but why would you buy a Stradivarius and then play it with a $16.99 bow? Or pour Charles Shaw into a Riedel glass?
That may be incorrect. Porsche started using and recommending N rated tires with the 964. 993 OE tires were N-rated. Porsche dealerships may not install non N rated tires on a 993.

I'm not sure the Dunlop Starspec Direzza's are available in sizes for the 993 but I recently bought a set for my M5. They are a great handling and very sticky tire. When my current 993 Sumi tires expire, this will be what I try on the Porsche.
