Question Brake and Rotor Replacement

Hi Guys and Gals,
Currently my ride 1996 993 Coupe (purschased 6-21-07) has stk brake and they are at (F/R) 40%/60% left so I am planning to complie replacement parts for Pads and Rotors. Usage is primarly Street with DE and Couple track runs to learn how to handle the Car.
What I am looking for is suggestions on replacement parts in the street performance range. ( do have fun on the street when John Law is not around LOL)

Stick with the stock Textar pads. They work fairly well on the track for moderate track use.

Porsche's stock rotors are fine, but stay clear from Zimmermans. Sunset has all of the these parts.

BTW, I have a set of front and rear new Textar pads that I'll sell 20% cheaper than what Sunset is selling them for.

My driving is about the same as yours and I stick with Textars. They are quite on the street and work plenty well enough for my track use.

I had Zimmermans and now I have Porsche. I wont go back to Zimmermans. They warped, didnt last that long, and squeeled like a litter of pigs.

The stock pads are dirty dirty dirty. I would replace them with a "performance" pad that is cleaner. They may squeak a little, but it's worth it to keep the wheels from getting trashed. I have Ferrodo's for street & track on the car now.
