swift_switch, definitely would love to meet up and if you don't mind i would like to be the passenger of your car and feel the JRZ... Have you tried PSS9 and KW (Gembella) before you go ahead for JRZ? What's your comments between those? I believed JRZ should be the best choice... isn't it?

Conversion cost should close to or more even more then hkd $100,000. (including parts, rebuild and labour cost)
I checked very details for my previous 993 targe, but finally given up the idea since i realise it's not worth to spend that $ for just a trans conversion...
If you target like Chris, then it might worth since you're going to build the ultimate driving machine for yourself...
HKD $530,000 might be reasonable for a good & origional one as of today's economy since TT now close to HKD $800,000. as well...
well, just my 2 cents...

Jason, the red one (An expat owner as i recalled) sold to my dealer friend at ~350 and my dealer friend sold to another guy at ~450 2 weeks later...
Where is the Black 993TT off-listed, any details? I might consider to sell mine if i can get a nice TT...

Rex....
The car already had Bilsteins coilovers on when i bought the car....however, they were not PSS9...they were only height adjustable.....a little too bouncy for my tastes.
I can't comment on KW for Porsches. I used KW V2 coilovers on my past 2 cars BMW 330ci and Audi A4.....were great for street...but i would go V3 if you decide KW.
JRZ....so far it has been a great ride! High price but you pay for what you get. Pillow Ball upper mounts, larger diameter mono gas valve, bump rebound and height adjustable, totally rebuildable, camber adjustments. Great road feel! However, i must admit that the pillow ball setup does create some noise at low speeds during city driving.

Hey Guys,
What are your thoughts on Tubi exhaust (rear cans only) in HK? Too loud? I don't see many people have them.....only once on a 360 modena....but it was so loud that i felt the vibrations in the taxi i was riding in 7 cars behind.

Rex: HK$500+ k for a manual 993 is pretty crazy - take it if you can get it and pay an extra $250k to trade up to a TT (of course you have to make sure it's a back to back deal, otherwise you'd be without a manual 993).
Friend of a friend of mine told me he had sold his 993 TT back in 2004 for $500k...
Times certainly ARE good at the moment ...

Sorry, may I ask you guys something about serving in hk.......our initial topic. What's your comment on MT? I live nearby and thinking of having the car service there, are they good and willing to take this kind of job, or they only like tunning and mod?
I called RAT today and they need to charge me $300 for sending a technician to pick up the car........! Also tried Kwun Tong Ah Fat before (with my ex 993), somehow I found that they dont really care about clt's satisfaction, they took nearly 3 mths to complete my color change (original said 5 wks), with orange peel and scratches on the hood and rear bumper, that experience is v terrible and time consuming with the never-ending 'jup jup" here and there visits...!
Not sure abt Carerra, as it is in Fotan, need to take half day off for a car service? too time consuming.

Cartoon Blue...
What kind of service are you planning to do? MT can do regular services. Their work is top notch and use the best. Equipped with the proper equipment for fine tuning your car. I've been quite happy with them! and the best part is that they are easily accessible. Have you seen the shop?? Lets just say that they are not the average "garage".
Speak to Clement....he can address your questions.
