I saw them on Tirerack too. But how to paint them. Or where to get them in red?

great look...do they make a RED front turn signal? I was looking at my 993 the other day and the red tail light with the red brakes would be perfectly complimented with a RED front corner

the Orange just contrasts and looks odd now so Ill go clear corner but Red corner would really look cool on mine and yours.....maybe its a DOT thing that the fronts are orange?

I think that they look great! I think a red Carrera script on the side would look fantastic.

Forward facing red and blue lights are restricted to emergency vehicles, at least in the states I've lived in - when I owned a '68 Caddy ambulance we were supposed to cover up the forward-facing flashers (which were '59 tail lights!) and bubblegum machine.

Car looks good, I agree that something to link the wheels to the car is necessary - maybe a red stripe below the door. I'm also a fan of odd # of spokes but these look nice.

creator8,

I like the look. Especially with a white color car you can do so many things with it.
If you really want to do something different you can go with the RED script but have it say TARGA. Or if you do go with PORSCHE lettering do it like they did in the 70's.

Here's the link for the decals. You can have them custom make the decal like I did for my ducktail.

Scott,

Is that your car in the photo?

The white trim on the rims idea has serious potential if you're not going with Carrera script. Or maybe add whitewall tires? (Probably hard to find in your size!)

Jeff,

Yes I sent them a picture after I added the Carrera Script. I added the script after I did the suspension mod. Way before the GT3 Style wheels and ducktail and everthing else.

The GT3 style wheels & ducktail set your car apart man, I dig it.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I'm liking it. Though haven't been driving it enough. Hopefully will get the time to deal w/ suspension shortly too.

Not into doing the script on the sides though I do like that ducktail.

Upsizing on the rims and tires makes a big difference in handling--a different car almost. Plus those Targa wheels are very heavy. Volks are 19.5 lbs rear and 18.5 front. I know the stock wheel tire combo is significantly heavier.

Steve, can you actually feel that the wheels are lighter from the driver's seat?

Red is an available color from Volk. You just have to special order them. I got mine through the importer--Mackin--but I work in the auto biz.

Car honestly feels a little more "eager". I've experienced this before when changing to lighter wheel packages on other cars. Suspension definitely seems to be working better--though it needs an upgrade now with all that rubber.

I've got 235s on the front and 275s on the rear. The car is much more prone to oversteer.
