I would list it for $54,900 and try to get above $50k for it. 97-98 C2S are the only 2 years they made them and I would think there are only a handful of Pastel Yellow's out there. So the right buyer will pay top dollar
Thank you all for the information. The car looks like it just came off the show room. The PPI was done by Chris Powel
who is the main technical advisor for the PCA. He said that the airbag is very sensitive and will go off any time the bumper shock is fully compressed. Sometimes I get sad when I find myself in with a group of people that fail to see the beauty in things because they are so busy trying to find fault.

That color does not typically command a premium and he GREATLY limits his market if he tries to get a premium for it. 28,000 miles is low but not $10K low.
I still think $47,500 is on the money but I agree he could get lucky with a buyer that wants Yellow and get more for it. Simple case of time v.s. money.

I hope I wasn't one of those people...I was just trying to give you some accurate data on one of the few Rennlist subjects that I know something about. I like the color and the car....have one myself in a different color.
I wouldn't sell it for less than 50k. Color does limit the audience, but probably not the ultimate price. If you are desperate to sell quickly, having a silver or black car will almost always get a higher price, but if you are willing to wait for the right buyer, I don't think that yellow is a discount, and might even be a premium if you really hold out.
I do think the accident is a slight discount, but not more than 5k, and the miles a plus, but are not THAT low. The car is beautiful, C2Ss are rare, and 50k is the min.

If you didn't want various opinions you shouldn't ask on a public forum. Not everyone will agree that a wrecked 97' in a "limited" color is a quick seller at a premium. Sometimes I think the value numbers thrown around here are a little pumped up, reality hits when you actually attempt to sell it. Flame away.
Set your price at 50 and see what happens. When a motivated seller and a motivated buyer get together, I am sure a deal amenable to both could be had. You could always say 50 OBO....
I like the car and think the color is awesome. I wouldn't get too disgruntled over the responses here... it is ask and ye shall receive after all!
My apologies for the member comment- didn't know you were one. As I said, I am not, but will be soon.
Good luck with the sale- I am sure you will end up with a suitable price when all is said and done.

Just trying to get the story straight before I pass along info on this car to a few folks I know are looking for such a car. Now, was only the bumper cover replaced or the bumper cover and the fender? Need to know before presenting to others. Trying to help ya!
Bumper AND fender replaced? Airbags deployed? Shows on Carfax? Oh, dear, now you've eliminated from your market all the guys who would park it in their living room with a doily under each tire.
From: Seattle xburb - I can't see the Emerald City, but I know it's out there somewhere
I like colors that are unusual, but the low miles are cancelled out by the accident history. That would be a show-stopper for me. I'd have to think that anyone looking for a "showroom" low-mile example would take the same view. That's just reality vs. fantasy. I'd have to index it against this car, a nice-looking '98 with some very nice and reasonable mods:
agree with all this...my early comments assumed a mint car, except for front nose respray, which is a common and accepted practice if done well and NOT for accident reasons (i.e.eliminate stone chips)

I made this comment based my own faults. Its actually one of the negitive aspects of owning such a nice car. I am always worring about where I park it, People touching it, rock chips, etc . Like I said when you look at the value against the price to build a race car the 993 is pennys on the dollar. I just dont have the heart to let this car out of the Garage. Its not about the money for me . Its the cheepest P car I have owned and I have a few.
Thanks for all your valuable opinions .
