I think there are other forums. They're set up for those 993 owners who have other Porsches.

Hey Alvin,
Going OT here but how did you like your 98 355 spider? I saw one drive by as I was pumping gas in my SUV today and damn it sounded SOOOO good!

Since you have owned number of great cars, I'd be curious to hear your impressions of the Ferrari versus the 993. I recently purchased my first 993, and have owend and had a fair amount of seat time in other Porsches, including a GT2. However, I've only had the chance to drive Ferraris for short spins or test drives.

if you could rent one then thats great if you have to keep one make sure your pockets are deep. performance wise not that great. I dont even miss my 355.
but they sure look great and they sound good. nothing sounds better than a 355.

You got it wrong Alvin. What we are doing is justifying eachothers expenses . Yeah man you need new suspension, yeah those recaro A8's would look great in your car, maybe a new SW? etc etc. Not that there's anything wrong with it, and it sure feels like we are helping eachother like a family when all we do is helping eachother to lighten our wallets . But that's what porsche ownership is all about right?

Actually, I daresay the 928 forum is the most active! Most discussions are centered about how to keep finding parts for them and such!

+1

They do justify and encourage un-necessary expences but atleast they help you save a few bucks off retail during the process.

I for one love this place, and do feel that I have cyber friends out there. I mean anyting crazy that happens during the day, P car related or not, we cant wait to get home and share the rest of the crew......

Alvin, you and your stable inspires me!
