Motive makes a nice pressure bleeder. Just leave the bleeder empty and use it to pressurize the system. Keeps it nice and clean.

I have seen some threads on cautioning about using pressurized air to force fluid out of the system but I have not had a problem even with several track days a year on the car. YMMV

I found a new Motiv online recently for only $49 and it included the Euro and "other" car connectors. Very cool unit.

I made my own w/instructions from AudiWorld (it was for my Sc'ed 2.8). Just used a yard sprayer w/tubing and a cap cor the resevoir (sp?). Works great, cost was about $10 or so to make.

Another vote for the Motive bleeder.

A word of caution, though:

If your 993 has a vent tube running from the master cylinder, be sure to pinch it closed with some vise grips when you pressurize. Otherwise, you will have a serious mess on your hands...ask me how I know!

This is how I use mine - it works great. I have the 'Black Label' version which gives you a machined aluminum reservoir adaptor and a much longer hose. The longer hose allows the unit to remain on the ground and the aluminum adaptor includes a swivel fitting.

I use the Black Euro model Motive at the shop. I like it better as it has a swivel in the line which make [utting it on and taking it off a little easier....

I wish my Red Model had the swivel.

Dave,
Motive sells the parts separately.
