964RS seats fit a 993?
I am not really in the market for new seats, but damn these are sweet... I know not period/model correct, but they are gorgeous. I wonder if they would fit a 993...

Porsche fitted the same Recaro seats to both 964 & 993RS (non CS versions) these should bolt straight in. Assuming they come with mounts, otherwise Recaro SPG/pole position brackets should do the trick.

what to you guys think? i currently have a set of pristine OEM 993 sport seats with crests....but it seems to me that these seats would take my look to a whole new level.... would they be too much in my car?

mrsullivan, the benefits of these seats are more in driving than looks, to my mind thay transform the car as you are held much better when cornering, particularly on track.....in a road car there may be negligible benefit with the downside that they are fixed back and compromise rear access considerably.

I have these seats in my 993. Be mindful that there is very little padding between the glass shell and the leather cover. These are comfortable and supportive for track work, but not a "touring" seat by an means. The seats in the photo appear to be in stunning condition. Best.

mrsullivan - As you are aware, your current sport seats are highly desireable, and would probably sell to the first interested party (hint, hint) around here.
My point is, the ebay seats would be "less" expensive as you could recover some of the cost with the sale of your current seats.
Just trying to help push you down a slippery slope...
