I'm about to pull the trigger on a pair of leather GT3 seats, is 1375 each a decent deal? Anybody think they are comfy>? I'm gonna do a cross country trip, should I just leave my stock seats in for the drive?

I'm assuming these are the normal GRP ones and not the CF ones? If they include the rails and mounts that's a fair price...the cheapest I've seen the GRP version is $1200/each.

Factory Recaro GT3 bucket seats just went up in price. List is about $1600 a seat including 996 rails if you buy the 964/993 version you are looking at $1900 a seat. I believe Park Ave motors is having a sale on the 996 version. If you buy the 996 version and are tall you will need the Brey Krause adapters. These run about $160 each seat and if you want harnesses there is an additional harness bar for around $100 per seat.

I think they are OK for track and short drives but wouldn't want to drive cross country in them. I have them in my C2 and I just purchased a set of Recaro Sportster CS seats for my turbo, now that is a comfortable seat.

At the Hershey Park swap meet a couple of weeks ago, CDOC had them on special for $900 each.

Anthony, I'm feeling the Recaro Sportster CS Hybrid Sport Seats! They have the agressive look of the GT3's but can recline! Sweet! Okay, where to get a good price on those? how tough to install in a 993, or your turbo?
