For the price of these wonderful cars. Shouldn't 100K+ in miles be expected?
Price is no indication of durability. How many Lambos, Ferraris and other high priced exotica reach 100k, can be driven every day, in all weathers etc etc....?

The 911 is unique in the world of supercars IMHO.

I've owned my first Pcar for 1 month now, 119,000 on the clock and it feels like brand new. The PO's service records indicate no major stuff rebuilt. I'm hoping for 130,000 before I start "Freaking out."

Congrats. The car is almost broken in.

I met the original owner of a 96 C4 cab a few weeks ago Rennlist morning drive. The car had 193K on and it and was going strong. He had the top end redone at 140K when the SAI ports plugged. I didn't get to ask what he had replaced on the car but it didn't sound like much.
Correction - I have not had the top end redone yet. Car doesn't need it. Burns a quart of oil every 7500 miles or so.

I had a friend with an 80s Saab 900. At 350K miles, he sent pictures of it to Saab and they sent him back all sorts of Saab junk, golf *****, a jacket, etc. The car was solid too.
