Default Which cylinder bank is which

I need to replace a couple bad O2 sensors, which side is considered bank one and which is bank 2?

One would think Bank1 is LHS cylinders 1-3. I dont know for certain.

Easy way to remember is take a look at the distributor/plug leads. There are the cylinder numbers for you !

Looking at the engine bay, left side is 1-2-3, right side is 4-5-6.

Chris,
The plug leads number is the cylinder number . Didnt make that obvious !

left side is bank one, right side bank two. in 99% of cars, bank one is the side where #1 cylinder is. 1/1 is sensor one, bank one, 2/1 is sensor two, bank one, etc. Or sensor 1 is upstream, sensor two is downstream.
