Hi Mark...........

The car had been for sale for several months, I was just kind'a out of the vibe, in the last 33+ years of 911 ownership things have changed especially sense '98. The real deal was I found a buyer who was a true enthusiast and he had cash...Then It was simple. I know "Baby Red" now has a GOOD new home.

PS.....The most fantastic car I ever owned, I felt as if she has a soul

The only difference between Tiptronic and Tiptronic-S is that the -S version has the steering wheels buttons to change gear... IIRC this was added late 95 (it must have been as mine is a late 95 and not a 96). I think it became standard from 96 on... but that is the only difference between them. Guess the -S stands for "Steering Wheel controls"

....and to keep this thread on track (sorry for the hijack) the silver Carerra badges run about $30 - thats about what I paid from Pelican a while back.

yep, that's right....there is a retrofit kit available; I look into it for my MY993 tip but just wasn't worth the cost...

What is that in the lower left hand corner of your picture just underneath your pooch? Me thinks thats some dog-doo, hope I'm wrong and my mind is (as usual) just in the gutter.

Sorry to hear about that. I saw her listed on autotrader.com for quite a while and was surprised she wasn't moving. One of the nices asses here on RL.

There's something about that shot - my stomach is hurting with desire.......

It's the sharpness, the dashes of colour, the 993 lines - OMG I think I've wet myself.
