Arrwin. Thanks for arranging - it was fun and well worth the drive up there.

I have other pictures, however I do not know how to blank out the license plates.

Default Thanks!

Thanks Arrwin and Bob for arranging this and putting together that great route. I look forward to many more of these. Hopefully next time I'll be able to stick around for the festivities after the drive.

Frank,

I hope the rest of the ride home was pleasurable. People can be quite annoying always cutting over to drive slow.

Your car is poetry in motion. When you continued on past as I started to exit the parkway I really had a chance to see how great it looked. They look great parked but far better when moving.

Yes. the reason I did that is many people don't like to have their license plate shown in pictures. So even though this isn't perfect, at least there's an audit trail of who looked at the pictures.

Why is that? I'm from the UK and folks wouldn't be concerned.

Thanks

I guess we're a little more paranoid over here. Guess that explains why we can still legally own guns and in the UK, they can't

Default 5 minute clip of the run

Here's a 5 minute clip of the best part of the run. This was after the rain, on the way to lunch.

I am following someone?? in a black 993.

L.C.: That sounds great. We should definitely drive together to the next run. I know there are a lot of Porsches in Great Neck, but I didn't actually expect to find any here.

F350: Thanks for the video. That was, indeed, an excellent part of the run.

So when is the next one?

LawmanF350, nice job on the video, I love that road! I'm going to start mapping out some new routes for later in the summer. There are some great roads in Western NJ and Upstate NY. If we get a big enough participation maybe we can break into groups and meet at a central place for lunch and key stops to gather. One idea is to get more groups such as Boxsters, 993, 996, 997, Turbo, etc...for a better representation of each type. Arwinn, are you up to planning another one before Labor Day? Any more volunteers???

Thanks, but all I did was rubberband a very small flat Sony digital still camera to my passenger sunvisor when it was down and let it run on video (last minute idea). The soft sun visor material seems to be a pretty good insulating material and took all the vibration out.

I think it is a great idea to have another run before the Fall, no need to wait that long.....I'm in!
