Mine just arrived in the mail today (not from Group Buy--anniversary gift from my wife off of eBay ). Quick delivery, and very sturdy. Now I just have to remember to remove it before moving the seat forward... Off to Peet's coffee for some Major Dickason's Blend; caffeine & high-revving... God I love life!

I don't get it. I was third on the list. Why did I get excluded?

Probably because your username doesn't indicate that you are a member...you should get that fixed.

If someone wants to do a GB on the Passat cupholder, I'm in.

I am not sure how much you will save....I just bought mine from a VW dealer. Its was around the same price as the CNC one.

Cheers,

Mike

I think I purchased mine from Vertexaut.com...I think it was less...about $30-32 IIRC, but that was a few years back

Having missed the group buy, I found this online for $18. It's made by Fischer, which according to the website is the German company that makes things like the cassette trays for Porsche to begin with.

http://www.ultimatecupholders.com/fischercupholder.html

This looks to be similar to the VW one except it's a single. You can install two side by side, and still come out ahead. (Click the link to the mount and you will find the mount and cupholder together for $17.99).

Plus, it has a bottom to it for drips, unlike the CNC one. I am curious as to whether it would fit into the console tray behind the shifter as well.

I've had a very kind offer from a fellow Rennlister who lives in the US and owns a company in the UK who can deliver things to the UK on my behalf. Unfortunately I've lost my place on the list, so if someone drops out I would like to be able to retreive my place on the list if it won't upset antone in the process.
Keep me informed and thanks to the Rennlister for his offer (I won't name him in case he gets inundated with requests to ship stuff to the UK!)

I just sent Jenn my membership dues. Too late for this group buy I guess. I'll refrain from drinking coffee in my car until the next gb comes up.

It's unfortuate since my 993 C2S is a daily driver
