RSRs
For any of you guys that are thinking of fitting,I would say Just do it,Thats what my 993 was missing ,that real porsche sound,I was a little sad when the 964 went because it had cat bypass and sports exhaust and it was a real head turner when you got on the gas , As for fitting 1 hour Last night to remove mufflers and cut the old bolts off the heat shields and about the same to night to re-fit
OH yes and 2 hours checking out the fantastic sound
Thanks Gert of comming up with the goods

Not a big fan of "loud" myself. But imho, the stock 993 was toooo quiet.
The RSRs seem just right to me.
Enjoy.

The volume compared to the motorsound mufflers would be about the same IIRC. However, you get a somewhat "raspier" sound with the RSRs. There are several soundclips to show this. Do a search on RSRs and you will find plenty of info. I doubt you will feel much difference in the volume compared to your motorsounds, the RSRs are just different sounding mufflers.. Good luck

I've got some soundclips on my putfile site - see my signature.
Mark, I know what you mean. I imagine mine sounds like an idling Panzer tank at standstill (in anice way!).
Cheers,
David
