Default Best place for hollowspokes?

I'm having a tough time finding a reliable source for a set of hollowspoke for NB 993. Is there a particular supplier or place to buy from that is decent on price?

Thanks for any help. I tried a search but didn't come up with too much. I see one or two for sale on ebay but never a full set and I'd rather not ebay them, to be honest.

Rennlist classified is probably where you can find the best deals.

Wheelenhancement is a sure thing, but you will pay.

caution, going to this site is likely to cause large expenditures.

Capitol wheels is also good. http://www.capitalwheels.com/store/customer/home.php

There is a set for sale in the classifieds.....item #28. Seller doesn't want to ship....may need some convincing.

Good Luck.

Good Luck.

I saw those but without wanting to ship didn't really think much about them. Never hurts to ask I guess

I have a set that will be for sale next week Standard 7.5 x18 and 10x18 ET50 & Et 65. My mechanic found a small crack in the left rear last week (1/2 - 3/4 inch LONG ). I had a certified FAA welder fix it. I can take pictures if you like. It can only be seen from the back side of the wheel. I'll make you a great deal at $1000 for the set. To give you a frame of reference. Wheel Enhancement wants $1000 each. Ernie's Alloys wants around $650 for a single. I'm going back to my heavier twists for the track and with the new seats etc I can't justify all these wheels.

Will the crack affect the wheel in any way? I know you had it welded but these will be used for street/autoX/DE use and I'd REALLY not want to worry about them. Its a good price no doubt, and I may very well be interested as long as I can be assured it will not affect the structural integrity of the wheel.

Also if you dont mind posting the pictures or shooting them over to turbo4door@gmail.com

Thanks!

a few things to consider here...

- first, these are crazy expensive, especially new... the dealer charges about $1500 PER WHEEL if I recall
- there are a lot of refurbished hollow spokes out there... check closely because the edges can be smoothed incorrectly from the refurb process...sand can get into the hollow areas of the spokes, etc.
- if it were me, I would want to either purchase brand new in the box or from a trusted source like a Rennlister. i went through this awhile back and decided to go brand new... but, like i said, $$ cha ching...

I have a complete set of NB Hollow Spokes, 8" and 10". I'm not sure what they're worth, as the rears have some curb rash. The wheels are original and have not been refinished yet.

Wow! thanks for all the responses. I'm not quite ready to buy (need to get the car back from the body shop first) and I'm still trying to decide for sure between the hollowspokes and the MY02 5 spokes but this gives me lots of good leads.

One other question. Refurbishing a wheel.....how much and who does it best? If I end up with a scuffed set I'll definitely want to get them cleaned up.

Refurbing a wheel; Wheel Enhancement is THE best, but again, it will cost you for their services, but you can rest assure it will be done well.

I have had Fuchs polished at Brite Wheel in Manhattan beach, not really a wheel refurbishment place, he does metal polishing, but does a great job of that,

I have the name and # of the wheel repair place that MB and Porsche brings to their lot in Orlando. They charged me $110.00 to repair the curb rash on my wife's MB last year.
