How do the RUF inserts attach to the pillars? Glue? Double-sided adhesive?

Mark, they need to be painted and then just install with silicone rubber. No special surface prep needed on the car other than removig any wax on the paint. I had my car over 200 MPH at California Speedway with them, and they never went anywhere..... In theory, they are good for 5-8 HP at 100MPH . This is an old statistic that has been rattling in my head. I can believe it as the old flag mirrors were like anchors. Anything that can save a few HP, is generally a good thing. Do 2 or three of these little things, and it does make a lap time difference.

Thanks, Bob. It's a relatively cheap mod that will help at faster tracks like the Glen, Road Atlanta and VIR. Not sure what whether it's PCA-legal or not for a stock car or a prepared car, but I'll find out soon. Gotta try and keep up with the 964 cups and the Cayman S'...

Oh well, this does not do much for the "rain dribble" problem...but looks like an interesting mod.

Thanks for the pictures!

Cheers,

Mike
