Does disconnecting the battery affect the immobilizer setting??
I will install the 3 spoke steering wheel this weekend and need to disconnect the battery as advised here in this forum. Will I have to re-program my two key remotes after re-connecting the battery?
TIA

No, but in an event if you disconnect the battery to shut the alarm off (because of weak remote battery), the alarm will not shut off until you have installed a new battery into your remote.
I found this the hard way, thought I can just disconnect the battery to reset the system......

Its always a good idea to let the car run (idle) for about 10 minutes after you have disconnected the battery to let the electronics re-adjust themselves. I found out the hard way when my car would stall on me and then it seemed to rev weird. If you look in the owner manual it actually recommends this procedure as well.
