VA & NC Drivers 05MAY Nags Head Fun Drive

Nags Head Run - Fun Run to Nag’s Head following breakfast.
Description: This fun run will include a drive to Nag's Head, NC from So VA and lunch at Black Pelican restaurant . Plan to visit the Wright Brother’s National Memorial (daily fee is $4 for 16 and older).
Meeting Point & Schedule: Leave Joe's Bagels located at 1600 Crossways Blvd, Chesapeake, VA, (Across from the Greenbrier Mall) at 10:30 AM
Drive south on Greenbrier Blvd, turn right on Centerville Parkway..follow until it intersects with Hwy 168.
Continue south into North Carolina, stopping at the state line to regroup if necessary.
Continue down 168 to Nags Head. After crossing the long bridge, bear right and continue south. Turn left on E Kitty Hawk Road at the light between mile marker 4 and 5. Black Pelican restaurant is one block on the right. Just across the road from the dunes. (About 60 miles from Joe's Bagels)
Black Pelican is a historic building that used to be the rescue station and later the telegraph office that the Wright Brothers sent the historic post-flight telegram from. Pay-as-you-go. Menu includes sandwiches to entrees,
seafood and steaks. Casual and reasonable prices.
