Does it mean if one was made by intercourse, his/her top end doesn't need to be re-built at 60k?

I wonder if the elves who "hand made" texas911 forgot to tighten some of those screws on his top end.

Well, they acutally talk about turbo charged engines, thermal stuff related to air cooled engines and their responsibility to the 911 community to keep the porsche spirit with any new 911.

Sorry forgot the T in my post.

And I give up, yes the 993 was "hand made", and it was the last Porsche with "soul". The 993 is the most reliable solidly built Porsche, no, car, ever built. The 993 is lighter than the 996 and 997. The 993 can outhandle a 997 Turbo. The 993 doesn't have an ounce of plastic in its interior. Porsche is just a marketing company now that makes crappy new cars that people are duped into buying.

I'll never understand the infighting between 911 model years. They are all great cars for a myriad of reasons and they all have their own character and positives.

I do however find it tremendously entertaining, especially the people that truly believe that they can objectively prove that their model and trim line is the best or purest of the breed (We all know that is the 3.8L 997 variant).

+1. This is both funny (both as in entertaining and peculiar) and sad at the same time.

they can objectively prove
Is anyone really trying to prove that? All I ever see is people talking about what they like and dislike. Where it goes south is usually where someone tries to provide "evidence" to factually refute an opinion. Like here.

PCar and his like, seem to think their opinion is fact. That's what's infuriating. Even when proven wrong, they worm their way around it by using personal attacks (MO for Pcar) or rationalizing it some other way, like the video I represented was a "marketing" ploy, showing Boxsters and 993s going down the same assembly line, never mind that in 1997, Porsche only had one factory to make all their cars, well, the 2 models they had.

Ok, enough already! Geez guys, you're killin me with all of this! I think its time to close the thread and get on to much more important ones that people won't argue about. Something like a "scantily clad women and p-cars" picture thread or the like.

well, I had second thoughts and deleted my post... too late I guess.

So...

No, I don't have the time to come here and pick meaningless fights, hold neverending grudges and rant on and on about stuff like this.
That's not true. I HAVE the time but I choose not to use it in this manner.

I have about 3 minutes total invested in this thread. Looks like you have a bit more? Maybe some other personal investment also? Ego or something... only guessing by the tone of your posts.
And this will be all of the time I will invest. G'day.

Bunch of grown men being catty....sad, sad, sad.

Catfight
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Catfight is a term for an altercation between two women, typically involving slapping, scratching, and hair-pulling as opposed to punching or kicking. It can also be used metaphorically to describe two human females insulting each other verbally or being otherwise nasty to each other. The appeal of a catfight was facetiously explained by Jerry Seinfeld, as "Men think if women are grabbing and clawing at each other there's a chance they might somehow, you know... kiss".

Interesting how Jerry has such a presence on this board...even when it comes to this.

Tex, I thought you gave up.

Your video proves nothing whatsoever. Not a thing, except that Porsche built its cars on assembly lines. You're making a great leap of reason to say that you've proven anything beyond that.
