Default Any opinions on the 993TT at Truspeed in Costa Mesa?

I just realized I would get a lot more responses if I posted this in the 993 forum instead of the 993 Turbo forum.

First, I have to say that I'm really impressed with what a great community Renn List has. A lot of other car sites have users with more opinions that knowledge. Everyone here seems to really know what they're talking about, and are also willing to help.

In that spirit, I'm wondering if anyone has seen, or could take a look at, the Polar Silver 1996 993TT at TruSpeed MotorCars in Costa Mesa.

I'm across the country. From the smallish pictures on the website, the car looks nice, although it seems to have a lot of wheel rash for a 22,000 mile car.

Here's the link:

I'd appreciate any other comments. Thanks!

Hmmmm...

It worked fine in the 993 Turbo forum here.

Is there an anti-spam feature that would prevent a newer user like me posting two links to the same URL at the same time?

It didn't work because you just copied the text of the link and rennlist shortens links for space. You need to copy the link itself.

Here is the working link, BTW: http://www.truspeedmotorcars.com/inv..._stock_no=1192

Oh and I have a very high opinion of that car, boy the things I would do to it!

I see 2 wheels with scuffs.
I think there is a lot of reflection off of that floor that makes things look worse than they are.
Agreed though. Who was driving this thing?

Thanks ilko. That's exactly what i did. I fixed the link.

Thanks for the reply, Mark. That's also why I'd like to hear from someone who has seen this car in person.

I just visited the website, I think the curb rash you are referring to, could be the reflection from the floor. Go look at the Silver C4S. The pictures of the wheels are larger and show the same reflection.

Haven't seen the car but having been over there before when my neighboor bought his '97 993, I have to say it's probably just a reflection problem. They get the cars REALLY ready and would surely have had the wheels fixed if there was that much rash on them. My neighboor was very happy with his purchase (the car was spotless when we went to look at it and have the PPI done) and loves his car - I am sure someone in OC can go and look at the car for you if you're serious.
