I've had a pair of these lying around, and I'll paint them over the weekend. are they a PITA to install or is it an after work jobbie ?

The OEM version is very easy to install. You will also need to fit new plastic wheel well covers.

Are you referring to the wheelarch liners ? I didn't have a clue. I'll have to source some of those first then.

Exactly. The bottom of the wheelarch liner will not fit the RS Splitter. I odered a couple new pieces when I fit my RS Splitters. I cut the existing spliters to fit and I put the new ones away. I will refit the new liners if I decide to return to the stock splitters. I believe I paid $45 a piece for the liners.

Ah, so I need to cut OFF a piece of the liner to fit the RS splitter ? That sounds much easier than having to cut one ON.

Thanks,

Peter,
Where did you get your splitters? Are they fiberglass or the flex resin type?
Thanks

A second hand parts dealer in holland. They are the OEM part, not fiberglass. Bloody expensive as well. About 450$.

mounting the factory splitters is not a big deal, the liner just needs minor mods

here's a detail of the RS splitter/wheel well liner junction
