If insurance is say, "X" for a given driver and State on a C4S, any guesses what he (or she) would pay on a TT or GT3- is there a huge differential?
Eg. would it be as high as 2 or 3 X?
I asked a German friend why more people don't drive turbos and he offered this as one reason.

just for some numbers I pay $300 a year for my 964 cab and $550 for my 03 TT. 2nd and 3rd cars one driver $1K deductable perfect driving record with GEICO.
I went from a 96 C4S to a 96TT. I don't recall the exact numbers, but the difference was much smaller than I expected. I believe around 10%.
I pay around $1300 / year for my turbo, but I'm not married and live in a city.

I live in Boston and reates are rediculous......I paid $2,400 just for the Pcar last year b/c of one accident in 2002 in a BMW. I think this year its ONLY $1,900. takes a lot of the joy of ownership out when you consider a $1,500 mod a year cant be done b/c of insurance.
