Another vote for the Hawk HT-10 compound. Similar heat range as the Pagid Blacks, good longevity and not unduly hard on the rotors.

Do the HT-10 have corrosive dust? The Hawk Blues were poison to anything they touch...wheels, paint. I have used Pagid Black, Orange, and have a set of PF 101, which I'll try next. Blacks stop veery well, but are a little harsh on rotors...Oh well ;-(

No corrosive dust with HT-10s.

I would suggest staying away from the oranges with the heavy 993tt and the speeds the car is capable of. The oranges are notorious for depositing pad material on the rotor which will make it feel like it is warped. This is caused by overheating the pad itself, beyond the temperature it was designed for. I would suggest RS19 front and rear, or alternatively, the RS14 in the rears.

I second what Geoffrey said. I used the oranges and they were ok, but would give you the warped rotor feeling. The rs-19s are great. Less noise too.

Another happy HT10 user. If you're not pushing too hard and driving on the street you could try Blues- but I suspect your TT would be too hard on them. I never liked Pagids because of the film build-up (i tried oranges- don't!) but some people swear by them esp. the blacks and yellows (which I've never tried).

I've never seen ANY race pad that didn't produce a lot of noise (esp. when cold) and dust- but if you want to switch from track to a street pad on Sunday night I'd recommend a Hawk race compound at the track and a Hawk street compound for Monday. You'll have relative quiet, you won't have build up issues and they only take thirty minutes to change.

If you are very aggresive in braking I don't think the Pagid Oranges are a good choice.

No, HT10's are able to handle higher temps a bit better. The Blues are the 9012.

RS-19!! Ran them on my 993 at California Speedway this past weekend and was thoroughly surprised at their performance and predictability. I was braking HARD into turn 3, 5 and 9 and they held their own better than expected.

Once home I measured the wear and was pleasantly surprised; less than 1/16” of wear after 8 - 20 minute sessions. An Awesome set of pads.

David
Did you use RS-19 front and rear?
Thanks

Yes, I have 993TT calipers/rotors in the front and rear - CA is really hard on front brakes but I noticed minimal wear when I took them out. The rears had barely bedded in. I called TRG and they said they have started running the RS-19 and 29s on their fleets with great success.

The compound is nothing like I've used prior from Pagid (Orange and Black), but the adhesion was almost perfect.

I highly recommend these pads for sprint racing or enduros.
