Default Steering Wheel choices

So I have been comtemplating getting a 3 spoke Steering wheel.
After getting the rings from the group buy I have been thinking of adding a touch of aluminum to the s.w. Here are a few options. Which do you guys think? Here are 3 I have been looking at.

Edit - I have a beige / black interior, w/ the aluminum shifter and e-brake, which both also have a touch of wood as well.

I thought about the Daytona (bottom), but I think it would look too modern in a 993. The cabin has such classic lines.

I like the Daytona GT also, but I do agree that it has a modern look. I like that it doesn't have too much aluminum though and isn't over powering in that respect, but does have a more modern look.

Carm,

I like the first one best out of the three there. I think the 2nd one is a bit too much alu especially with the horn buttons. I have a similar SW but decided to go with a non perferated grip area... not really sure how well the perferated leather will hold up. Just my .02

I know it's not a choice, but what about the 996 3 spoke wheel? I think that wheel looks so handsome in a 993.

Of those three, I like the top one.

Best looking wheel? 996 3 spoke.

Best driving wheel? Momo Monte Carlo. Still the best steering wheel on planet earth.

I agree with allill and Svaha, the first wheel is the nicest.. +1 as well on going with a non-perforated wheel.. First wheel would look better if the alu part did go all around.. it seems like its cut in the middle? Maybe unavoidable? 996 3-spoke looks sweet as well.. But I like the thick grip on the RAID SW as well.. And definately do a logo delete if you go with the RAID SW.. just my 0.02$...

The FVD wheel that was on special for $600 would be a good choice. Or alternatively find a 996 3-spoke on ebay (either worn or in a bad color) and have an upholsterer recover it in alcantara and also increase the thickness.

They all look nice IMHO. But could the removal of the old air-bag S-wheel increase our insurance rates? As a mater of fact, will any mods increase rates? Anybody?

Thanks guys ! I will probably go with an all black leather or the Raid/FVD Freeway w/ the top in aluminum.
I'll keep you posted.
