Hi briefescape. What kind of P-car do you have and what is your experience with the jammer's effectiveness? Also, could you clarify where this aluminum bar behind the bumper is. Have any pictures? Thanks.

Well Blinder laser jammers are not as good as advertised. All the video's that Radar Roy and Guys of Lidar do concerning the blinder are made to look like they work. The only gun that the Blinder M20/M40 work ok against is the Prolaser III which is the easiest laser gun to jam even the blinder, but against anything else like a LTi 20/20, LZ1 Stalker, Laser Atlanta, the Blinder will be toast. The was to go is getting a Diode jammer since its like 50x stronger the a LED based jammer. On the topic of the K40 laser jammer system, there has never been a independent testing on the K40 including the Calibre system that has been proven to work. I have tested the K40 Calibre which was on a Black Lambo Gallardo and the K40 was easily picked off at any distance with our police laser guns. I btw have the Laser Pro Park (parking sensor and laser jammer) on my ride.

Okay, here some some shots of Guy's system
Here are the emitters in front of the nose. The bumper is off his car so you can see them very clearly.
When the bumper and grill is on they are hidden but slightly stick out of the grill. Here is a shot with the emitters and the grill.
There is an emitter in the back as well, its just above the licence plate and well hidden.
We were working on the bumpers and adding RS splitters, here is a shot of the car on my lift with the front bumper installed. Notice that you can't really see the emitters at all.
Cheers,
Mike

Can someone tell me what kind of wheel these are ^^^? They look like BBS, and I was once told they were Porsche option, but all the BBS wheels i've found don't have that smooth concave center and the same number of spokes...
Oh, and can I get some for a C4S?
Help?

If it weren't for the parasite lawyer politicians in the first place, we wouldn't be getting tickets. They create their own language so none of us can understand it, then use it against us to pick our pockets. Lawrence I think you are a lawyer. They always defend and protect their own.

Oh, see, I misunderstood. I didn't realize you were blaming lawyers for imposing speed limits on you. My bad; of course those are difficult to understand. ("Speed limit 25 MPH" I mean, my god, who could possibly parse that out?)
What bastards.

Lawrence, can't tell if your messing with me or not. Don't mean to offend any lawyers as people, I'm sure there are many who are Porsche drivers and fine persons. I just have lost all respect for the profession as it has become.

This thread takes the game of cat & mouse to a whole new level!
I spend about 25 - 30 hours a month voluntarily patrolling with our Provincial Police force as an Aux. Constable - purely community service.
All I can say to my RL friends is be careful. Check your local or state laws and understand the penalties for using these devices. Sometimes, they can be more punitive than the committing the actual offence - speeding.
Secondly, don't develop a false sense of security. When I run radar it's quite easy to determine if something fishy is going on. The Police Officers that I know are quite up to speed on the technology available these days (and where these devices may be mounted). Be careful!
Let's face it, we will all break certain traffic laws from time to time. Choose your moments wisely and drive safe.

You have to learn where to go fast and where not to go fast. If you go fast every where you will get tickets reguardless. I once got a ticket becasue the officer just thought I was speeding. I proved he guessed in court and the judge still found me guilty.

Fortunately, the radar detector ban in Virginia means the cops usualyy use antiquated stuff and almost never instant on or lidar. So my Escorts 8500 and S2 cordless do just fine around here.
