you have been so patient with this... what some here dont realize is that you had to travel back and forth to CALI to get these.... you have earned every smiling mile sitting in them now!

Absolutely stunning!!
How much did it cost to get the seats recovered? How about the cost of the seats themselves?

Default I'm confused.

You say you had the seats recovered, yet it says "RECARO" in big ugly letters on them. You didn't pay extra for this did you? If so why would anyone do that?

Obviously because people have different tastes from you.

Tony, you have one of the nices 993 interiors on the forum. Congrats. AND I like the RECARO lettering.

Thanks for your comment John. As a matter of fact I paid EXTRA to have the RECARO put on the seats as that was how the original seats were... So as to why I did it... to keep it original.

OMG, every time I see A8's in 993's I get lustful. Looks magnificent!

Do you know how much they weigh each? They look pretty heavy, but I think I've heard they're light.

Thank you.

The SW is from FVD and its a 340mm wheel. The manufacture is ATIWE. I think someone else was looking at a similar SW from RAID, also manufactured by ATIWE.

Thanks Eric.

I didn't weight them Once I started down the path of redoing them and with my schedule it was tight. But I can tell you that the leather cover is heavier than the original cloth but still lighter than the sport seats.

Looks great Tony. What do these seats cost? Who sells them? I take it they were cloth before?
Thanks

Thanks Greg. I don't know much about the history of these A8s. There are others like Jim Morton, Pong and others that can probably chime in on them. But as far as I know they were sold in the mid 90's and mostly in Europe. I got these from a good friend of mine for $1,850.

Here is the seat before I had them recovered.
