Escort 9500i radar detector impressions?

Be careful in Vancover, Can. with your Escort ZR3
They use the Lti 20/20, LTi 20/20 (100 pulse) and the Laser Atlanta up there and it will eat right through your Escort ZR3 (Same as the Blinder but re-badged). I have the Laser park pro, 1 sensor up front and 1 over my rear plate.

Yes that is what I use. Its a Diode jammer which is about x50 stronger then a LED based jammer like a Blinder, ZR3, Bel LP904/905. It works very well as a parking sensor and the owners manual only talks about it being a parking sensor and not a laser jammer. My lpp on the front of my car (singe head) is more powerful then a Blinder M40 X-treme and I have no problem getting JTG's (jam to gun) on any of the laser guns in use. I also have a single head just over my rear plate to protect my rear end which the cops are starting to target more of here in WA.st. I have on days on purpose gone hunting police laser traps just to jam them and the look on their face and looking at their gun as I roll by is priceless.

Seems like a new product. Not many reviews on the web and not many blogs talking about it. I read that cycle world mar 07 talks about it (p70) I think. What did it cost and what gave you the confidence it worked - considering how new it is. Im confused about your statement that its a diode jammer and not LED. LEDs are diodes - bit confused. Where did you buy it?

Here is a link from the UK and a test article on the laser pro park
http://www.ukspeedtraps.co.uk/laserpropark.htm
The Laser Pro Park is from the UK where laser jammers are illegal, so hence the "Parking Sensor" route. To make a very long story short and not confusing, Laser Pro Park's developer was part of another laser jammer but it had no parking sensor. So this developer left that company and made his own and made it better and with a parking sensor that work. What gave me the confidence that it worked? Well when I was in search of a laser jammer because 3 laser tickets in 1 month was too much for me. I spend alot of time checking out alot of the laser jammers but 1 stood out above the crowd. It was made in the UK and it was alot more powerful then the standard laser jammers sold in the US. I did more research and finally contacted LaserProtector.com and I had a Rep contact me very fast and answer any questions and really educate about laser jammers. The guy that I talked to was the North American rep. for the Laser Pro Park. The company has been in the business for quite of few years in europe and as Laser Pro Park in the US market for about 1 year. I have been involved is several tests with the laser pro park in the area with a group of guys who are interested in laser jammers. It works so well that I actually go hunting for police laser traps just to see their faces because they think the typical driver is easy pickings but they cant get a reading on my car on the front or rear if I decide not to let them, but I do turn it off depending at what distance I was hit and how long do I want to mess with them. On the topic of LED's and Diode's, a LED jammer like the Blinder for example has several like 8 little LED lights lined up next to each other for jamming the laser pulse as to try to over power the laser by matching that pulse from the laser gun. The LED's dont work at long ranges like 1,500ft and they have been tested to have Punch Thru's at 1000 feet (not good for you). The Diode jammers are about 50 times stronger then the LED's and the Diode only has 1 very bright light and the lens that covers it is designed so no one will see the light unless you use a camcorder in night mode and then you can see it working. I am not a engineer but I am alot more educated because of the the company that sold me the Laser Pro Park. If you have any questions and want his contact info let me know and I can PM you since I am not here to sell anything just here to help out to pass around a good knowledge.

I'm sorry in the laser world a "LED Jammer" referred to when talking about the Blinder, Escort ZR3, Bel LP904/905 that are comon in the US for sale. When I speak of the a "Diode Jammer" I'm talking about the lot more powerful and better working laser jammer as in the Laser Pro Park" which I have.
