Changed my original clutch at 106,000 last year. Still had some life in it, but the clutch pedal was stiff and I could detect some slippage when stuck in traffic.

Bought my car at 72,000 miles on the clock with no indication of a replaced clutch. So either it was still new or had been replaced a long time still prior to that. Sleazy dealer would have certainly used it as marketing. I now have 162,000 miles. So I have at least 100k and anywhere upwards of the whole lot. I'll never get a LWF/Clutch at this rate.

Fortunately still on the first clutch - oh wait, that's a good thing with only 17K on the odometer.

Thanks for the responses, keep them coming. I did not realize there were that many people who went over 50-60K miles judgin by what I have read but I was wrong. However according to the pole, the majority of changes occured between 50 and 80K and this one being at 75K kind of scares me.

88k and still going strong. I ask every year at the service and am assured that it is still fine. Just like the standard suspension... ;-)

Cheers,

David

Still on my original at 61k miles. Waiting for it to go so I can upgrade to RS flywheel and replace main seal.

Still going at 95K. The pedal is getting a bit high now, so I am expecting that it will end up lasting to about 105-110K... I want a LWFW and RS clutch so I may move the timetable up!

maybe add another category: "still on original clutch"

This way, those of us still orig can view the poll results,
and you will avoid the risk of result contamination from
people who click whatever just to see the poll results.

Well, my clutch was fine, but my dmf was rattling, causing a CEL for errant misfires. So I replaced the entire assembly to the LWF setup at just over 110k.
