Just bought first 993
Hello all,
I wanted to introduce myself to the forum.
My name is Steve and I have just purchased a beautiful '95 993.
I found it in Oregon and live in San Diego so I have a fantastic 998 mile journey down the west coast on highway 101 to look forward to. It's black with tan interior and plenty of options. The car has 95000 miles but has been very well loved and cared for, which was highlighted on the inspection report from Porsche. I have been wanting and looking for the right car for ages and now finally own it and am very excited!
So far I have been impressed with the forum and the information within and look forward to participating myself.

Congratulations! It is always nice to see someone's patience pays off. Enjoy the bonding time with the new car on the trip home and don't forget to bring along a Valentine One.

I did nearly the reverse trip a few weeks ago. I bought a black '95 993 in San Diego and drove it up 101 to my home near Seattle. You'll have a blast getting it home!

Congrats! I drove mine home to Denver from Dallas (not as pretty at HWY101, but still fun)...

Congrats, if you are only half as happy as I am for buying mine, you should be fighting to fall asleep at night thinking about it. "As much fun as can be had with pants on"
