Question Which grease for seat rails?

After I finally got out the front seats and redyed them with great results it is time to put them back. Before I do this I want to grease the rails. What grease (brand, where to buy) to you recommend.

Thanks
Erik

Erik,
Which product did you use and in retrospect could you have done the redyeing with the seats still in the car.
I would love to see your results.

I will take pictures over the weekend.

I used "color plus" products and the color match was perfect. There was no need to dye the vinyl backs of the seats which are in perfect condition. I tried the shifter boot first and after gaining confidence about the products and the method to get the dye on I than did the seats. I cannot tell you how happy I am and from other posts I already know that this dye is very reliable.

should I clean the old grease and then put the new grease on the rail seats?

I use loctite 8103.
It is black
Does not accumulate dust
Does not smell in hot weather
Does not smudge
Ps: take a small quantity of grease out of the tube a few hours before putting it
in the cabin, that's it.

Any grease will do. We're talking seat rails here.

ACME axle grease. As seen in Looney Toons.
