Calling mr_bock, calling mr_bock, where are you?

I hope he doesn't mind me posting this, but last year I told him I really wanted to see a good pic of his engine.

Simply a beautiful work of art!!

My 993's engine is plain vanilla but below are pictures of a friend's old 993 Turbo. The car put out 782HP.

I remember the massive intercooler barely fit under the GT2 wing.

You know, I still think the varioram is cooler looking....but seeing some of these really clean 1995's is very cool. It looks less sophisticated, but you actually SEE more of the engine.

What a cool car we are all lucky enough to own.

And how fanatical are we...gazing at picture after picture of engines. I love this place.

No, just love to help others, and throw in the occasional humor, or at least what I thought was humor

I try to help as much as possible, but I think the best I can do is direct people to Robin's DIY board, use the search function or help with the few issues I have had come up.

EIther way, the spirit of Rennlist is what keeps this place rockin! Cheers

Hi Harry

Indeed I've sold the RS, long gone but not forgotten

How's your steed getting on ?

I tried the RSs natural succesor (and loved every second of it)

Then got an itch for one of these...

Neither of them as tactile or as involving to drive as the RS, but they're more modern in so many ways.

Sorry all, i've taken this thread waaaaay

Back to the best looking engine bays !

Atgani,

Great to have such opportunities to try various cars. I am too loyal to my vehicles so I won't be changing mine anytime soon. 997GT3 RS looks fab but I would rather buy the 993 RSCS. I've been learning to service my cars over the winter and have done a few things - engine oil, brake fluid and transmission oil all been changed. Rennlist is a great place to get help
Sorry my engine bay isn't clean and Atgani's picture shows it off very well so I will leave it at that.
Cheers everyone!
