You may wabt to revisit the relative values of the 1995 model year versus the later years; no OBDII is now seen as an advantage that can outweigh the 1996 and later OBDII CEL problem.
Just a thought. Hope it helps.

This is, of course, all else being equal, and knowing nothing about particular examples in question, service histories, driving stlyle, etc. etc.

Three Wheelin'
Remember that is his ASKING price.
An all cash buyer at $35 probably would take it.
Having purchased a reasonably low mile '96 with lots of options for about that price over two years ago I'd say the price is still a little bit high.
That said, IF the car is truly in great condition inside and out with all of the proper maintenance done I think it is probably worth the money to the RIGHT buyer.
Personally I think that black 993's are probably worth less just because they are such a PIA to keep looking nice and because many have not been kept looking nice. I wanted silver and looked and looked and looked. Finally my black one came along at the right price with all the goodies. In the end wasn't as slamming a deal as I had hoped. Had to replace brake booster, rev. light switch, repair door check strap, lower valve cover gaskets, front rotors, found stored SAI fault codes.....BUT......I still love it.
Comes down to how desperate the buyer or seller is and how big an issue the $$$ is. Wonder what a comparably priced 996 would look like?

"it's comparing apples to oranges. i'm a pca member and if my car had 39k miles i'be asking 40+, it's because guards red is a super weak color. nobody wants which is why it is priced that way. black/black commands the most amount of money and it's not even arguable. but thanks for your time."

Blue Porsches. Because you won't have to get divorced?
(In her defense, Mindy picked the first Pcar while I chose the color)

Burning Brakes
Mine may be for sale sooner than later... It looks like I may be discharged (medically) from the AF early. If I'm not well when I go out the door I may be facing some unemployment until I heal.
